📋 About This Mod
Did it ever bother you how the big guy isn't even able to walk and is always rooted to the same spot? Well, not anymore! With this mod, Mehrunes Dagon can finally walk! And it only took 16 years since the game's release!

As an added bonus, he now also has an animation for getting back up after getting knocked down.
A few important notes:
- This mod does NOT fix him falling apart into a mass of body parts when killed; check out the Ragdolls mod for a fix for this.
- The mod decreases his size by 20%, since he was so big, everyone was usually out of his melee range (255 units, which is maximum value) unless they were practically hugging his feet. The video shows his original size.
- Walking animations of every creature are affected by the Speed stat. In an unmodded game, Mehrunes Dagon's Speed is zero. This means that without adjusting it to a higher value (100 is recommended), he'll seem to freeze whenever he tries to walk. The ESP file fixes this for the Mehrunes Dagon seen at the end of the main quest, but if you'll ever try to add a Mehrunes Dagon companion or something and stumble upon this issue, well, this would be why.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 657 endorsements and over 51k downloads—clearly fills a niche.
- Lightweight and focused: does one thing and does it well.
- Easy to install—just drop the files in and go.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2022—may not be compatible with the latest Skyrim version or other animation mods.
- Only affects walking; no changes to idle, run, or combat animations.
- Requires you to have Mehrunes Dagon in-game, which is rare—only appears in a specific quest.
For Skyrim players who want to add a bit more personality to Mehrunes Dagon's brief appearance. If you're a lore enthusiast or just like polishing every detail, this is a nice touch. Skip if you're looking for broader animation overhauls or don't care about Dagon's walk cycle.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure to place the files in your Data folder or use a mod manager to avoid conflicts.
- If you use other animation mods, load this one after them to ensure it takes priority.
- Test the animation during the 'Alduin's Wall' quest where Dagon appears—that's the only place you'll see it.
