- Special thanks to MissAniThrope for the OMOD version. Without her, there wouldn\'t be one. Super huggles to her for her efforts <3
- An unusual pack for me. A texture replacement for most of the Deadlands. Was sick of hell looking so dowdy. Included are optional weather and lava esp\'s. You don\'t have to use them, but I really think the weather is a must-have for the new look Oblivion.
- There\'s also a low / Vanilla res version on offer for any struggling pc\'s. (Mostly 512x512.) This low res version is 100% stand alone.
- Personally, I think the Real Lava mod by CptJoker (found here: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/6854 ) is the best out there, but I felt like doing my own so I\'ve included some. Pretty much just mimicked his settings as far as ripples go, etc, but made my own texture and esp. (And no, I did not include any assets from his mod. But I DID use identical water settings in the esp because he absolutely nailed it, so let\'s be clear about that. I would not have had a clue what settings to use for the right effects without seeing them in his esp. Call it mimicking, ripping off, what you please.)
- Please be aware this was really not intended to be public. I re-used the same textures a LOT. (And given how much I do it at the best of times, that really is saying something.) I just wanted a quick way to make the Planes of Oblivion look more to my taste.
- And, it seems, I probably have all of about 5 textures across this entire mod. No wait, maybe it was more like 6...(You get the idea.)
- Some textures are 2048x2048, others (some SI rock) are 1024x1024. A real mish-mash, though thankfully I\'ve found they have pretty much 0 performance impact. (And, of course, the low res version is 512x512 for the most part.)
- Not interested in expanding on variety. This was a quick fix for me. If you fancy it, great. If not...well... I honestly can\'t say I have the same passion for this as I did my L&G landscape mods.
- I\'d call this a shabby / dodgy / quick-fix / overhaul. Slapped it together fast, didn\'t give a shit about being careful, didn\'t intend it for the general public, so beware.
- So far it\'s been behaving for me, but I don\'t guarantee that it\'s crash or bug free. Please consider it very much experimental and potentially a dud.
- One nice little fluke was that the stars in the new Oblivion weather \'twinkle\' when there\'s an Oblivion electrical storm and the sky is moving faster.

💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a texture replacer, just drop the files into your Oblivion Data folder and enable the mod in the launcher.
- If you use a mod manager like OBMM or Wrye Bash, install it through that to keep your load order clean.
- Check for conflicts with other Deadlands texture mods—this one replaces many of the same files, so load order matters.
