Lower Mages Guild Recommendation Requirements

Have you ever thought that it's a bit unrealistic that every mage in the Mages Guild needs to trek all across Cyrodiil and perform death-defying tasks in every city, just to become an apprentice?

Do you frequently create new mage characters and get bored of doing all seven recommendations before being allowed to use the spellcrafting altars?

Either way, this mod should help.

Changes the script associated with "Join the Mages Guild", along with a few other things, to allow you to enter the Arcane University and start the Mages Guild questline with one to six recommendations instead of seven. You'll still be able to go back and do the recommendations you skipped, with the obvious exceptions of Bruma's and Cheydinhal's after certain events within the questline, and Bravil's, due to a quirk of Kud-Ei's dialogue.

As far as I can tell, the plugin works pretty well, but feedback regarding any bugs or oversights that I may have missed in my testing is appreciated.

Installation: Download the file relevant to the number of recommendations that you want to be required. Unzip the ESP into your Data folder and activate it in your mod manager.

If loading a save that was already in the middle of "Joining the Mages Guild" when installing this mod for the first time, you can use the command "set mg00join.recommendcount to x" in order to change the number of recommendations you have. This won't be necessary on new saves or saves that have already completed the quest.
