Louder Music Overhaul

This mod makes Oblivion's sound tracks louder through audio normalization and compression.

Technical Process:

These sound files were made using my tool Soundwave Audio Pack.

What This Does:

Using a two-pass normalization and compression process, all sound files have been amplified which gives all sound tracks in the game to be more punchy.

Technical Process:

These sound files were processed using my tool Soundwave Audio Pack with the following steps:

Normalization:

The audio was initially normalized to a peak amplitude of -1. 0 dB, makes sure that all song tracks maintain a consistent volume without any clipping.

Compression:

FFmpeg compression was configured to match Audacity's modern compression preset, smoothing out the dynamic range.

Final Normalization:

The tracks were normalized a second time to make sure that they peak at a consistent, non-clipping level.

Tool Used:

FFmpeg for batch conversion

Installing: 💿

Navigate to your games directory and drag and drop the files inside game files to replace the MainTitle.wav file and the Music Folder which contains all the original music with the new louder songs.

Uninstalling: 🗑️

Make a backup of the original mp3 files and the LauncherMusic.wav file before you replace them as this action can't be undone.
