📋 About This Mod
I no longer use this mod, and will not be updating it or providing support for it anymore.
There are mods like Imperial Watch Armors Restoration that change the Imperial Legion to fit what's in line with the present naming scheme, however these differ from vanilla quite substantially and in my opinion take away from the feel of what Bethesda decided on for the final game. This mod just makes some basic tweaks to fill in the inconsistencies with the Legion while keeping with the vanilla scheme:
NPC changes:
-Imperial Watch at the Imperial Prison have been renamed to "Imperial Prison Guard" and wear the standard Legion helmet. Also Prison guards that didn't wear a helmet before now have one.
-Imperial Jailors in the Imperial Prison have missing gear pieces added to their inventories. Their maces have also been replaced with swords.
-Imperial Legion commanders now wear the Imperial Palace Cuirass, including Gepard Montrose.
-Speaking of Gepard Montrose, he now wears the Imperial Watch set complete with a shield. (With the Palace cuirass.) The captain prefix has also been removed from his name, for consistency with the rest of the guard captains.
-Imperial Palace Guards that wore the Imperial Palace Cuirass now wear the Imperial Watch cuirass.
-Imperial Watch in the Talos Plaza District and main quest that wore the Imperial Watch set now wear the correct standard Legion set, and have bows and arrows added to their inventories like the rest of the Watch.
-Imperial captains now wear the Imperial horseman helmet.
-An Imperial archer that wore leather now wears standard Legion gear like the rest.
-Several Imperial archers that were called "Imperial Legion Soldier" are now named appropriately.
-Imperial Legion Centurions now wear the horseman helmet and use two handed weapons.
-A soldier that used a two handed weapon now uses the standard weaponry.
Gear changes:
-The Imperial Watch set has been renamed to "Imperial Palace xx"
-The Imperial Palace cuirass has been renamed to Imperial Captain Cuirass.
-Legion gear has been renamed "Imperial Legion xx" from"Legion xx." Stat changes from Legion Armor Revised balanced plugin have also been included, with some small tweaks.
-The Imperial Palace set (previously the Imperial Watch set) is now a little stronger than standard Legion armor, and the Captain Cuirass is slightly stronger than the standard Palace cuirass.
-The Imperial Horseman Helmet has been renamed to Imperial Watch Helmet, and is now slightly stronger than the normal Legion helmet.
This does not make the palace armor or cuirass playable, there are other mods for that.
Relevant UOP changes have been carried over and proper Bash Tags are applied. The mod is packed in a BAIN installer, and patches are available for Imperial Palace Improvement, Talo
