📋 About This Mod
This mod will no longer be receiving updates as of Halloween, 2024. I now just use OCO without the manual edits to faces and deal with the ugliness, much of which was intentional by the developers. I appreciate the requests people have made and the endorsements on this mod, thank you.
REQUIREMENTS:
Oblivion Character Overhaul v2

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 1,496 endorsements and nearly 300k downloads — clearly a go-to for OCOv2 users.
- Lightweight and focused: does exactly what it says, making NPC faces better without overhauling the whole game.
- Still updated as of August 2024, so it's likely compatible with current mod setups.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires OCOv2 as a base mod — if you don't have it, this mod is useless.
- Only affects a 'number' of NPCs, not all — you might still see some vanilla faces sticking out.
- No detailed changelog or feature list, so you don't know exactly which NPCs are changed until you try it.
For Oblivion players who already use OCOv2 and want to polish up specific NPC faces without a full overhaul. If you're looking for a comprehensive character improvement mod, this might be too limited — but for targeted fixes, it's a solid pick.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure OCOv2 is installed first, then drop this mod's files into your Oblivion Data folder or use a mod manager like Wrye Bash.
- Load order matters: place this mod after OCOv2 in your load order so its changes take effect.
- Check the mod's comments section on Nexus for user reports on which NPCs are improved and any potential conflicts.
