📋 About This Mod
Dredfire Dragon Staff ===================== By Gizmodian ============== Description: ============ A single staff using the GothResourceSet Dragon to make the Dredfire staff. Support for both Oblivion and Nehrim available. Installation: ============= Either manually install by unzipping directly into your Oblivion/Data folder. If prompted to overwrite, select \'yes\'. Or make it into an OMOD using OBMM. There are instructions in many places on the internet on how this is accomplished. NOTE: Now, there are two esps in the folder. One labeled NEH for Nehrim, the other labeled OB for Oblivion. USE ONLY ONE. Location: ========= In Nehrim, it is located in the Erothin Tavern in the back. Remember the staff IS on fire... it\'s sort of hard to miss. In Oblivion, it\'s in the Arcane University grounds, top of the stairs. Uninstallation: =============== Delete the files or remove the OMOD. Additional Info: ================ The textures packaged in the mod is normal size, which is a 1024px square. If you want high-resolution 2048px, download the GothicResourceSet and overwrite the texture directory with the one packaged in the 2048\'s folder. It will double the texture size, and give you better visual clarity, however, it may impact performance. Programs Used: ============== 3DSmax9 Adobe Photoshop CS3 Nifskope Credits: ======== Bethesda Blackheart for the fire setup. Jexsam for making the Oblivion compatible esp as well as the in game screenshots. Usage and Permissions: ====================== This is an open-source resource, you cannot claim it as your own. You may use any part of the meshes or textures, however, you must credit me.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Decent community support with 183 endorsements and over 7k downloads.
- Works for both Oblivion and Nehrim, giving players of either game a new weapon.
- Simple concept—a themed staff—that fits well for players wanting a unique magical weapon.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2010—likely outdated and may have compatibility issues with modern setups.
- Only adds a single weapon, so it's a minor addition for most players.
For Oblivion or Nehrim players who want a visually distinct staff without overhauling the game. If you're a collector of unique weapons or enjoy themed gear, this is a quick grab. Skip if you're looking for gameplay-changing weapons or extensive content.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's an older mod, consider using a mod manager like Wrye Bash or OBMM to handle installation and load order.
- Check if the mod requires any additional resources from the GothResourceSet—if so, download those first.
- If you're playing Nehrim, make sure you download the Nehrim-specific version, as the mod supports both games separately.
