You can put whatever you want on the paintings by following the instructions in the \"How to create a painting\" section below. The paintings are available from Astia Inventius, a lovely old lady who stands out on the docks of Anvil every day painting the lighthouse. INSTALLATION ============ Simply extract this archive to your Oblivion/Data directory. Then be sure to activate the mod from the \"Data Files\" section of the Oblivion launcher. See the \"How to create a painting\" section below for instructions on creating a painting. DETAILS ======= Everything is for sale from Astia Inventius, who lives in Anvil. During the day she walks out to the bay and paints (near the lighthouse.) She will only offer things for sale while she is painting, so no breaking in to her house in the middle of the night demanding she sell you paintings! If it\'s a rainy day, she will not be painting. You\'ll have to come back later. HOW TO CREATE A PAINTING ======================== Customizing a painting is very easy! All you have to do is save a 256x256 .dds file with mipmaps compressed with DXT1 to this directory: Oblivion/Data/textures/furniture/ol_custompaintings/ With the name: CustomPaintingX.dds Where X is the number of the painting you are creating. If this sounds like greek to you, I have included a step by step tutorial (with pictures!) of how to do this! Simply open up \"ol_custompaintings_tutorial.html\" with your web browser. CHANGELIST ========== 2. 0 +Increased the number of custom paintings to 30. They are still all available from Astia. =Astia will now only buy \"miscellaneous\" items. =Fixed Astia to behave more like a real merchant. Any items sold to her will disappear eventually. I also moved her items for sale to a different \"chest\" which should hopefully fix the problem some people were having where she had nothing for sale. 1. 0 +Added 10 custom paintings to Astia Inventius in Anvil. =First release. ISSUES/COMPATIBILITY ==================== =By default, all of the paintings except for Custom Painting 1 will be a completely black canvas. This is normal - you have to put in your own images to have something show up. =The normal map on the paintings behaves a little weird under some lighting. The painting can look much darker than it should sometimes. Usually you can move around the painting a little to make it catch the light better. If you want, you can delete the CustomPaintingX_n.dds file coresponding to your painting. That will remove the normal map completely and your painting will always appear full brightness. This can look bad in some areas - like in fog, everything looks covered in fog but your painting is cutting right though it. However, it might look okay in your house. =This mo
