DESCRIPTION -------------- Have you ever missed those Cast When Used enchantments when playing Oblivion? Then you\'ve come to the right place. Yesterday I was figuring out a way to get Morrowind\'s nomenclature to Oblivion (\"Dire Shardsword\" and stuff like that) when I came across the Demon and Devil Weapons. I then remembered that I really liked the idea of those - a weapon conjuring another weapon. So I sat down and thought about how I could bring back those weapons. It was easier than I had guessed - just some basic scripting (I never scripted with TES Script and was still able to do it) and OBSE were needed. But it was still a lot of trial and error. I added 5 weapons: Axe, Bow, Mace, Dagger and Sword. They\'re all based on Fine Steel Weapons and they summon Daedric Weapons, so there are no new meshes or anything. I also did some Voice Acting, but not much, and I couldn\'t make all the other voice files to go away, so Qa\'Zirr will sometimes sound very strange (my voice ^^) and sometimes like a usual Khajiit. You\'ll also notice that the strangely voiced dialogue is much funnier. II. INSTALLATION ---------------- Simply extract the archive to your Oblivion/Data folder and activate CWU MM Weapons.esp. Again, this needs OBSE0014 or higher. III. PLAYING THE MOD ------------------- 1. Where do you find the weapons? Cheydinhal - they are sold by a Khajiit named Qa\'Zirr. He\'s next to the statue near the Mages Guild. 2. What does Cast When Used mean? The script works like this: as soon as you equip the weapon, you get a special spell. This one doesn\'t cost you any magicka, instead the weapon loses some of its charge. I managed to get the weapons to show how much charge they have and how many uses you have left. When fully charged, you have 5 uses (just like it was in Morrowind). 3. How much do they cost? In Morrowind these weapons were very expensive; the sword cost about 10000 gold. On the other hand, a daedric sword was worth about 60000 gold, while you get those for 3500 gold now. So I guessed around 1000 gold would be a good price. IV. KNOWN ISSUES: ----------------- - probably slightly conflicting with Better Cities Cheydinhal; worst scenario would be that my Khajiit trader disappears beneath the surface or that his table floats in the air, something like that. - Qa\'Zirr, the trader, will sound funny for two reasons: 1. I did the voice acting 2. I was to lazy to do ALL the voice acting (that\'d be insane for such a small mod), but I was also unable to remove some of the other dialogue (even though I did exactly what the tutorial told me to, I swear!)
