📋 About This Mod

Bananasplit\'s Better Cities Skingrad - Reduced (v1. 3) ----------------------------------------------------- (by Fearabbit) 1. Description I made this mod for me, and I decided to share it, since I know there are at least some people who feel the same about vanilla Skingrad and about Bananasplit\'s Skingrad mod. Skingrad is my favorite city in terms of style and architecture, but it could have been better. Bananasplit made it much more beautiful with all the flowers, statues and narrow streets. However, I think he put too many objects in there. And other things that I\'d have liked to see weren\'t done by the mod. So I did some modifications: - removed lots of rocks (especially on the road that goes through the center of Skingrad) - removed lots of flowers on balconies, windows and on the ground - removed a lot of the vines that covered most of the houses... some houses are still pretty green, though. This might change in future versions... - removed almost every statue (I don\'t even know which of them were there from the start, but it looks much nicer now, I think) and certain objects that didn\'t fit into Skingrad (ruined wayshrine, IC architecture) - made sure there aren\'t any gaps in the city walls - changed the pathgrid where didn\'t make a lot of sense or went into buildings - translated the German title of the \"Guide to Skingrad\" - lowered the city walls in the center of the city. Now you can see from one half of the city to the other, and you see less walls when walking around (which is always nice in Oblivion\'s towns) - replaced the tower near the cemetery with a different tower that wasn\'t used in Skingrad before, only in the castle... very nice, and those towers were in desperate need of variety That\'s about it. I walked through Skingrad a couple of times now and never noticed anything out of place, but maybe I did miss something, feel free to tell me then. Please be aware that due to the removal of so many objects, some places may seem a little bit empty, or some ugly terrain might show up. I don\'t know, I changed things like that when I noticed them, but you can never be sure, and maybe you guys are more demanding than I am. It\'s amazing, I must\'ve removed about half of all the rocks and I still think that there are too many of them. I\'m not really a modder (yet), so please don\'t expect anything professional here. But I think that my mod should have less bugs than the original version by Bananasplit. Like I said, I mostly removed things - things that were added by Bananasplit, don\'t worry, the guildhalls are still in their place ;) 2. Installation: Copy the esp into your \\Oblivion\\Data folder and enable it. That\'s it. You don\'t need the original BC Skingrad, it should even be disabled if you\'ve used it before. Concerning load order: Kinda difficult. I heard people say that Better Cities mods should be near the end, but I don\'t do it that way - I have all those visual mods
