INFORMATION ON THE MOD ********************************************************************* Help the Imperial Legion storm a fort occupied by Nordic Separatists. This mod adds a large battle in a new fort with a repeatable quest for you to play. This mod contains reworked meshes and new textures. There are new armor items, a new tapestry, and new clutter items such as a Cyrodiil map static object. The moveable items have new icons, and the quest has a custom icon. To play the mod, go to the Bruma north gate outside the city and talk to General Varus. The mod uses silent dialog, and the download includes the silent voice files created with TES4Gecko. Oblivion can not handle huge battles well because of lag and AI issues. So the battle is set up so that there can only be about nine actors fighting nine actors at a time. When there are casualties on either side, reinforcements will rush to the area. The battlefield is constructed such that it does not seem big and empty. The actors that are killed fall to the ground and are lootable, unlike in some large battle mods where slain enemies instantly vanish and reappear across the battlefield in a immersion- breaking manner. There is a sort of a scoreboard that will periodically flash on the top of the screen during the battle. It will tell you things such as the completion percentage for the battle, number of enemy casualties, number of your side\'s casualties, and number of times you have ripped down enemy banners. The fort is fairly ornate. In addition to the outer walls, which archers stand guard on top of, and on which you can walk, there is the huge four-story keep. There is also an interior cell used as a barracks by the enemy. There is clutter, treasure, and enemies all throughout the entire fort, so it is not just an empty lifeless battlefield. The battle may rage outside the fort, or in any of these areas depending on how you play. When you are traveling with your soldier allies, they may sometimes dawdle or goof around or get lost. They are fond of resting and socializing now and then. To get them moving again, go close to where they are and they will resume the march, even if it is after a brief pause.
