INFORMATION ON THE MOD ********************************** This mod is for if you like sparring, but don\'t like killing honest people just for sport and entertainment. There are healers on duty and most of the combatants will survive. So now you can fight in the arena without feeling like a murderer. This mod does a lot of tweaks to the vanilla Oblivion arena. Some of the arena spectators have more colorful clothing so they don\'t all just look like a bunch of beggars. The pillars which you see while fighting in the arena, are now still there while you are watching a match. (They seldom block your view. The fights tend to occur in the center of the ring.) The fights you bet on are more fun to watch now, because the combatants have half the health points and the fights don\'t just drag on and on. They also have some higher stats and skill levels so they use more spectacular moves. The vanilla voiced dialog is preserved and some silent lip-synced dialog is added to several new and vanilla NPCs. The vanilla Oblivion bug with the Raiment of Valor is fixed. Durability is now the same as ordinary Arena Raiment rather than having the raiment be 5% as durable. Path-gridding bugs fixed from vanilla arena. The adoring fan is now pretty good in a fight. He is a companion you might actually be glad to have following you around. When you become Arena Grand Champion, you get to fight in the arena once each day rather than once each week. ********************************** 2. Installation ********************************** Extract (decompress) the .esp file, meshes, textures, and sounds to your Oblivion directory, the default is: C:\\Program Files\\Bethesda Softworks\\Oblivion\\Data\\ Alternately, extract someplace else. Then move the .esp, Meshes, Textures, and Sound folders to Oblivion\\Data\\. This will merge the .nif, .dds, MP3, and .lip data files (Meshes, Texture, Sound, and lip movement files) from the mod with the data files on your computer. Often you can simply drop the \"Data\" folder into the \"Oblivion\" folder. Make sure the files go into the proper directories they were in when you downloaded the mod.
