Seamless Cupboard

Virtuos studio made a mistake in applying masks and shading effects on lowerclass cupboards.

As a result, a shade seam is glaringly visible in about one half of all LC cupboards in Cyrodiil - that's like hundreds!

For example, in Waterfront district, Myvryna Arano's House is right in front of your shack. Pay a visit.

There are two cupboards: the one on your left is decent, but the other one on your right is problematic even though they share the same model and texture. This is wrong.

This mod fixes that.

 OBR texture is not so simple as the previous titles. Master material --> material (M_)--> material instance (MI_) —> material instance constant (MIC_) --> masks (_DM, _BM..) and then finally textures (T_)

Extremely complicated multi-layers of effects and shades come into play to render the visuals in game.

No wonder they look fantastic due to the sophisticated material system.

However, that level of sophistication makes it harder to mod.

As for me, it was like a miracle to figure out what is responsible for the mishap. XD

Installation

if you don't have ~mods folder, create one.

if you accidentally put the file in Paks folder, it works just fine.

even if you create a folder inside ~mods folder and put it in there, that's fine, too.

i.e. if you create a folder named electionis and put all my mods in there, no problem. It just works.

this is particularly useful if your mod list gets longer and takes time to recognize all different names and versions, preventing a possible confusion.

Compatibility

This mod is incompatible with any mod that modifies MIC_LowerClassWood_LayeredDirt.uasset.

The game Update 1. 1 version doesn't work if you installed PMS mod (v1. 4).

It can be resolved by installing ver 1. 4. 1.
