No Essential NPCs

Are you on some kind of a rampage?

Or maybe trying to play some extremely cursed challenge?

Yeah, then this lets you kill essential npcs

What exactly does this mod do:

Removes the 'Essential' tag from all NPCs.

Remember that if you kill an NPC that is tied to a quest, you either resurrect them with a command or the quest is unfinishable!

Remember this mod is just for fun, I'd suggest not using it for actual playthroughs

INSTALLATION

REQUIREMENTS

Honestly unsure if Vortex works or not finally, if it doesn't install manually, I will have to test this at a later date.

(The mod might work with Vortex now, but please double check in your case)

(Currently I am unsure if it works with vortex, maybe it does, it sure will at some point)

For now I recommend the

Manual Installation:

Extract the zipped folder into the MAIN GAME FOLDER

Then make sure that your 'Plugins.txt' has the 'NoEssentialNPC.esp' added at the end of the list

Your main game folder will be:

e.g. Steam:

YourDriveLetter:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\

for GamePass its more like:

YourDriveLetter:\XboxGames\The Elder Scrolls IV- Oblivion Remastered\Content\

Your Plugins.txt file in the:

Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data

Should look similar to this (NoEssentialNPC and any other ESP mods must be added at the end):
