Carry Weight Modifier

Annoyed you can't carry every possible piece of cheese in the game?

Yeah same, so this should help.

What exactly does this mod do:

Changes the lockpick weight to -150

Adds rings that do not take up any ring slots in a few barrels next to the 'Office of Imperial Commerce',

that gives you 250, 550 or 1000000 Feather effect, meaning no encumberance on that sum of weight.

P.s. RINGS MUST BE UNEQUIPPED AND EQUIPED EACH TIME YOU REACH TOO MUCH WEIGHT!!!

Reason for this:

because the systems of the game run on two engines,

cannot directly change strength to carryweight scaling, but this does work.

REQUIREMENTS

Vortex should work now. If it doesn't follow the instructions below

Manual Installation:

Extract the zipped folder into the MAIN GAME FOLDER

Then make sure that your 'Plugins.txt' (find it in the folder outlined below) has the 'CarryWeightMod.esp' added at the end of the list

(Or you can simply download the changed plugins.txt file, then make sure you overwrite the old one from that folder)

Your main game folder will be:

e.g. Steam:

YourDriveLetter:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\

for GamePass its more like:

YourDriveLetter:\XboxGames\The Elder Scrolls IV- Oblivion Remastered\Content\

Your Plugins.txt file and CarryWeightMod.esp file has to be in the folder:

Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data

Should look similar to this (CarryWeightMod and any other ESP mods must be added at the end):
