Inner Demon (Summon Clone)

There is a book so cursed, even Phintias of the First Edition in the Imperial City Market District refuses to touch it.

He claims that on certain nights, he can hear his own laughter echoing from within its pages. Disturbed and fearful, he sealed it behind a locked chest, where it now lies forgotten, gathering dust — waiting for someone reckless enough to unlock its secrets and confront the power it holds. But beware: such madness comes at a high price.

How to Obtain:

Visit the First Edition bookstore in the Imperial City Market District. Speak to Phintias and purchase the Dusty Tome for 6,666 gold. The tome will grant you the spells Inner Demon, Greater Inner Demon and Enemy's Inner Demon. (see V. 1. 2)

  []Effect: Summons a clone of yours to aid in combat

  V. 1. 1: Added Shivering Isles doppleganger effect and included permanent clone spell (Greater Inner Demon) in the main mod so people have this choice by default. People who wanted more than one clone can now also use the temporary one they need to keep active using (alot of) magicka and the permanent one together (important: the shader might cause some lag due to Beths bad optimisation. I recommend using a mod for this too!) | Rebalanced the formula (the clone is always as strong as you are but won't use bound spells. (except custom ones)) - this is to avoid it overriding stronger armor in late game by using bound items. If people still want the clone to use such spells you can still create ones, it will use them instead.

  V. 1. 2: Added clone target spell (Enemy's Inner Demon) - it costs 150 magicka (conjuration expert level required), lasts 2 Minutes and follows almost all rules player clones do. It will instantly attack the target. Doesn't work on creatures! (they tend to spawn invisible and do nothing due to the cloning restrictions in vanilla)

  Added no shadow effect version (fixes performance for people that have issues with the main version!)

  Installation:

  []Drop the .esp file into the following directory:

  \Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data[]Add "InnerDemon.esp" to the bottom of your plugins.txt file in the same folder. (same method with other versions, just change the txt entry to the esp's.)

  []Uninstallation - remove file(s) and entry/entries. / remove via Vortex/Mod Manager.
