Immersive Imperial Legion

This mod makes various changes to the weaponry, armor and clothing of members of the Imperial Legion for better consistency, realism and gear diversity.

Should work perfectly fine on an existing save. Safe to install/uninstall whenever.

Best paired with Immersive Guards as it uses similar design philosophy.

• []Less Bows: Someone finally fired the captain who was making every soldier carry a bow. Now only a handful of City Watchmen near crucial gates or in the prison yard have bows
  • []Fine Steel Weapons: Silver weapons are cool and all, but it seems too impractical and expensive to outfit an entire army with silver weapons. City Guards now use fine steel weapons instead (Palace Guards still use silver weapons)
    • []Weapon Diversity: City Guards have a chance to carry maces instead of just longswords because nothing says 'We're here to help' like beating a beggar with a spiked mace. The guards that still use bows carry a shortsword instead

        • []No Bows: Palace Guards no longer use bows since most are inside the Palace which is almost entirely tight corridors
          • []Ebony Weapons: Captains now use Ebony weapons as a mark of their station and to better distinguish them from Palace Guards
            • []Gepard Montrose: Given proper captain's armor set
              • []There are only 4 actual 'Legion Archers' in the game (they pop up during quests) but thought I'd give them a unique outfit
