Dangerous Waters transforms Oblivion’s passive, broken aquatic life into a real threat — swimming is no longer safe.

🐟 Increased Slaughterfish Spawns

Spawn rates have been heavily increased in deep water zones. Expect to encounter groups or even schools of Slaughterfish patrolling lakes, rivers, and coastal waters.

⚔️ Deadlier Slaughterfish

Slaughterfish now move significantly faster and hit harder, correcting their sluggish, nearly non-functional vanilla behavior. Their speed makes water traversal genuinely tense and dangerous.

🧬 New Variants Introduced

Juvenile Slaughterfish — smaller, weaker fry versions now appear alongside the standard ones.

Giant Slaughterfish — a deadly new boss-tier fish lurking in deep waters. It’s fast, aggressive, and hits like a troll underwater.

🦀 Elder Mudcrabs

Rare, oversized mudcrabs have been added to shoreline spawn zones. They’re slightly larger and tougher than standard mudcrabs!

🦑 Land Dreugh Adjustments

The chance of encountering Land Dreugh has been slightly increased in appropriate areas, adding more variety to water-adjacent threats.

Whether you’re swimming to escape, explore, or flee, you’ll never feel safe in the water again.

I made this mod for tuning my mod collection Oblivion Prepare to Die to get things exactly where I want them.  Which features an unleveled world of Oblivion in Oblivion Unleveled by me, More Enemies & ORWO by Maddensterror02 + Better Oblivion Crisis, More Damage, and many others for a more immersive and challenging world of Oblivion.

INSTALL 

Just unzip the archive and drop the esp into the data folder

"Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data"

After that add "Dangerous Waters.esp" to your Plugins.txt document

LOAD ORDER FOR THOSE USING ORWO AND MY MOD:

ORWOUnleveled.esp
