When your current weapon's reserve ammo drops below 30, and you approach an NPC that uses the same ammunition type, the NPC will share half of its own reserve ammo with you. NPCs will pick up ammo boxes when their own reserve ammo is low. Item storage behavior NPCs may pick up and store medical items (max 4 slots) for the player. When the player lacks these items, proximity triggers handover. Critical-health NPCs will auto-consume stored bandages or first aid kits to recover HP. Tool & Item carrying behavior NPCs will carry fire extinguishers and welding torches for you. You can take them directly from NPCs whenever needed.
