📋 About This Mod
I started this mod a long time ago, probably around NEXT release time.
I started to feel uncomfortable with colored atoms and started to replace atoms for plants and minerals by some realistic chunks of them.
And naturally things evolved as game changed its resources.
So this mod is actually a collection of new icons for your eyes, including :
- most icons for the most common resources, including brand new dihydrogen, deuterium and tritium icons
- some better cropped out technology icons (originaly to improve the visibility of their background)
- reworked freighter warp drives icon providing a better progression
- reworked ship color-specific warp drives
- a new single hermetic seal icon
- a new advanced teal colored lasers icon
- new icons for geode, crystal fragment, tritium hypercluster and magnetized ferrite
Note that this mod is obviously a work in progress and it has been designed to be used with Colorless Inventory.
As everyone as different tastes, I post a screen of all the icons with their names. This way you could eventualy unpack the mod, only keep the ones you like and repack the mod.
I hope you will enjoy some of them

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Decent community support with 322 endorsements
- Over 5,800 downloads show it's been tried by many
- Recently updated, so likely compatible with current game version
⚠️ Cons
- No detailed description provided by the author, so you're flying blind on what exactly changes
- Only one feature listed, so it might be a simple icon swap without extra options
- No install instructions or compatibility notes, so you'll have to figure it out yourself
For players who want a fresh look at the game's icons without overhauling gameplay. If you're tired of the default icons and want something different, this might be for you. Skip if you're looking for major content changes—this is purely cosmetic.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since the description is thin, check the mod's files to see if it's a simple drop-in replacement or requires a mod manager.
- If you're using a mod manager, preview the icons before installing to see if you like the style.
- Make sure to back up your original icons if you want to revert, but that's a given for any mod.
