📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Community-approved with 600 endorsements and nearly 20k downloads—clearly fills a need.
  • Makes aligning industry buildings a breeze—no more fiddling with free placement.
  • Active development: last updated May 2026, and includes integration with Snappy Modules for even more snapping options.

⚠️ Cons

  • Scaling breaks snapping—so if you like to resize buildings, this mod won't work for you.
  • Only affects the listed 16 buildings—if your favorite isn't on the list, you're out of luck unless you dive into LUA modding.
  • Requires AMUMSS for custom additions, which is a steep learning curve for most players.
🎯 Is This For You?
For No Man's Sky base builders who want clean, aligned industrial setups without the headache of manual placement. If you're into modular bases or use cargo holds and prefabs, this mod is a must-have. Skip if you never build or prefer free-form placement.

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Make sure to disable mods that alter the same building files to avoid conflicts.
  • If you use AMUMSS, back up your edited files before adding custom snap points.
  • Test snapping with a small floor first to see how the points align before building a full factory.
