📋 About This Mod

The horror No Man's Sky already ships, actually showing up. Infested worlds that are actually infested, abandoned freighters that finally bite back, and four creatures rebuilt from scratch in Blender. Two gameplay presets - pick one. Beta:

Something lives here

No Man's Sky already ships a horror game inside it. Almost nobody sees it.

Biological horrors that spawn brood while they fight you, spit, pounce, and nest inside

abandoned freighters - all of it is in the game already, and all of it is locked behind a roll

you can miss for a hundred hours.

This mod does not invent monsters. It takes the horror you already paid for and puts it in

front of you.

The abandoned freighter finally bites back

It was always the best horror location in the game - dark corridors, flesh on the walls, that

sound - and nothing ever happened in it.

Now the nests wake to your torch and to your gunfire, and breaking one calls horrors down on

you. In a corridor. With nowhere to run.

Four gameplay files. Pick ONE.

They edit the same game files - installing two means one silently overrides the other,

and nothing tells you which won. To switch, delete the old folder first.

INFESTED - the full thing, the ceiling of the range.

Twenty times the horror eggs and the sand worm nests. Predators in packs of 5-7 that see you from

80 m and never flee. Twenty-four horrors on you at once, spawning brood mid-fight, pouncing from

three times the reach, spitting constantly. Freighter nests that wake to your torch. No warning

markers on your HUD at all. Almost every planet rolls hostile.

INFESTED - HARD - everything above it except the last four switches.

Twenty times the eggs and worms, packs of 3-5, they never flee, twelve horrors engaged and all

twelve hitting, 3-5 hits per flurry, pounce at 2. 4x, spit with no wind-up, and no horror markers

on the HUD. No brood, no freighter nests, and predators still get a marker. Almost every

planet rolls hostile.

INFESTED - NORMAL - the middle, and the one to start with.

Five times the eggs and worms, three times the ground fauna, packs of 1-2, eight horrors on you

at once, pounce at 2. 0x, half the stalking time. Roughly one planet in four rolls hostile

instead of one in eleven. HUD markers stay, freighter nests stay asleep, nothing spawns brood.

INFESTED - EASY - the same world, without the teeth.

Twice the eggs, twice the worm nests, twice the ground fauna, predators in twos instead of alone,

and they notice you a little sooner. That is the whole list: the horrors behave exactly as

vanilla, your HUD markers stay, and the freighter nests stay asleep.

Easy does NOT change which planets are hostile, and that is deliberate. That is not a

dial for how many dangerous creatures spawn - it decides whether an entire planet is a predator

world. The first release of my predator mod pushed it, and people loaded a save to find the

planet they were standing on had turned against them. Easy leaves it alone. The world you are

already in stays the world you left. Normal moves it to about one planet in four; Hard and

Infested take it to nearly all of them, because that is what you asked for by picking them.
