📋 About This Mod
All Refiner & Cooking Recipes in the Wiki
Tested for: No Man’s Sky 6. 06 (Public)
Adds two new top-level categories to the in-game Catalogue & Guide: Cooking and Refiner.
Each category has three pages (1/2/3 Ingredients). Pages list recipes A–Z, skip identity recipes (e.g., “1 × X = 1 × X”), and insert a blank line between different result groups.
Formatting/colors: Numbers (x1, x2…) render in yellow, the result item renders in blue, and inputs are:
• Cooking pages: forced yellow (all inputs shown as “Substance/Commodity” for readability).
• Refiner pages: Substances = yellow, Products = white (vanilla behavior).
Optional / markers (Products/Substances) can be enabled via the script.

🛠️ What’s new
-
[]Updated for game version 6. 06 (Public).
[]Two categories: Cooking and Refiner (non-cooking).
[]Page titles changed to “Cooking — 1/2/3 Ingredients” and “Refiner — 1/2/3 Ingredients” (no more “Slot 1/2/3”).
[]Cooking inputs now display in yellow (forced COMMODITY tag) for quick scanning.
[]Alphabetical listing, identity-recipe filter, blank line between result groups.
[]Single localisation file at the mod root: LocTable. MXML (no NMS_LOC1 edits).
[]Configurable arrow symbol between result and inputs (= by default).
🔧 How it works
-
[]Adds two GcWikiCategory entries (Cooking, Refiner), each with three GcWikiTopic pages:
Cooking — 1 Ingredient • 2 Ingredients • 3 Ingredients
Refiner — 1 Ingredient • 2 Ingredients • 3 Ingredients[
]Bodies are generated from curated recipe data, removing identity recipes, sorting A–Z, and grouping by result with a blank line spacer.[]Colors via Catalogue & Guide tags: <TECHNOLOGY> (blue) for results; <COMMODITY>/<PRODUCT> for inputs.
Cooking pages force <COMMODITY> on all inputs; Refiner pages keep vanilla mapping.[]Optional type markers / can be toggled by setting SHOW_LEGEND = true in the included .lua and rebuilding.

METADATA/REALITY/WIKI. MBIN
└─ Adds two categories (Cooking, Refiner) and 6 pages (1/2/3 Ingredients each)
LocTable. MXML (added at mod root)
└─ Single cTkLocalisationTable containing all new IDs (titles + page bodies)
⚠️ CompatibilityConflicts with mods that also modify:
METADATA/REALITY/WIKI. MBIN
Localisation is self-contained in LocTable. MXML; only exact ID collisions would conflict.
🛠️ Installation (manual EXML override)
This mod ships as loose EXML/MXML files (no .pak). Install them as an “EXML override” so the game (or your loader) picks them up.
1) Close the game.
2) Locate your No Man’s Sky installation folder

~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/No Man's Sky/[]macOS (App bundle):
Right-click the app → Show Package Contents → /Applications/No Man's Sky.app/Contents/Resources/No Man's Sky/
3) Create an EXML override folder (one-time setup)
If you already use an EXML/MXML loader, use its root. Otherwise, the simplest convention used by my mods is:
<No Man's Sky>\GAMEDATA\MODS\
Create it if it doesn’t exist.
4) Copy this mod’s folder into your override root
The final structure should look like this (example):
<No Man's Sky>\GAMEDATA\MODS\
└─ AllRecipesWiki
├─ LocTable. MXML
└─ METADATA
└─ WIKI. EXML
Important: Keep the internal folders exactly as shown (paths and names matter).
