(TTW) D.E.R.P. - Dialogue Expansion for Role-Players

DESCRIPTION

This mod is an expanded offshoot of my Tell Dad About Jonas mod and adds some additional dialogue options, mostly during the character generation phase in Vault 101. It also includes the option to tell Dad about Jonas, so you can replace the earlier mod with this one if you want. The options added here are intended to address my personal shortcomings with the game and I may add more in the future if I find any other opportunities that I feel were missed. All new dialogue options are fully-voiced using clips from existing dialogue.

SOUND FILES

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to share Fallout 3 voice files on the New Vegas Nexus, even though I cut them together differently. Instead of risking a ban, this TTW port only contains the plugin and the correct folders for the sounds to go in. You will have to download the Fallout 3 version of this mod here (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/24517), and extract the sound files from that archive into the folders added by this mod (Data\sound\voice\TTW Dialogue Expansion for Role-Players.esp\). Note that Fawkes' dialogue folder is now named CreatureSuperMutantDC for TTW, instead of the original CreatureSuperMutant, and the ghoul dialogue folder is now named MaleGenericGhoulDC for TTW, instead of the original MaleGenericGhoul.

INSTALLATION

Extract all the files in the archive to your New Vegas data folder (which is the same folder where FalloutNV.esm is located). Download the voice files from http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/24517 and extract them into the folder added by this mod (Data\sound\voice\TTW Dialogue Expansion for Role-Players.esp\), then enable the ESP either in your mod manager of choice, or under "Data Files" in the launcher that runs when you start up New Vegas.
