The Torn City

Wow, the fact anyone still plays this is incredible! I'm glad everyone has enjoyed the mod ~despite~ the bugs. I wanted to make a piece of content with atmosphere, and I'm thrilled that's what people enjoy.

I have clearly moved on and haven't supported the mod for years. I had a lot of plans back in the day, and the fact that they are unrealized seems a disappointment not only to me, but to many people in the community. With that in mind, if any experienced modders are interested in picking up the project, please contact me at clarkkgudas at gmail dot com. If the demand for enjoyable content is here, I want to put the project in the hands of someone who can provide it. We can discuss the details. Just let me know.

Salutations! I am going to talk shortly about what is going on with the Torn City. First, I would like to thank everyone for their support. I have put a HELLUVA lot of work into this mod, and knowing you guys love it so much is pretty awesome. I also understand those of you who do not like it so much! How can this mod feel real without a mini-map? A doctor that actually does anything? NAV-MESH?!

Well, that is what I want from you. I've launched the ol' GECK for the first time in a while, and I wanted help putting some important touches on this mod. For a short list, here are some things I want to do:

To get there in game, go just south of Camp Golf and you will find a boat next to a small pier, and that should take you there.

THE TORN CITY. Upon arriving at the Torn City, you find a group of survivors, desperatley clinging on to what is left of their lives. Facing constant threat from everything else that lives around them, you are their last hope for survival. Prepare to face menacing creatures, rutheless mutants, and the unforgiving rulers of the Torn City.
