📋 About This Mod
This is a simple replacer for Tag Uniques - ESPless, changing the (U) marker to a * symbol. I created this because I helped a friend who found editing a text file challenging, and I thought it might assist others facing the same issue. Credit goes to Hazado for the original mod.
A simple UI replacer for the Tag Uniques - ESPless mod, changing the unique item tag from (U) to a star (*). For players who prefer a cleaner, more subtle indicator. Lightweight and easy to install.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Cleaner look—star beats clunky (U) any day
- Tiny download, no bloat
- Does exactly what it says, no surprises
⚠️ Cons
- Requires Tag Uniques - ESPless to work—not standalone
- Only changes the tag symbol, so if you wanted more UI options, this isn't it
- Low endorsement count (65) means it's not widely tested by the community
For Skyrim players who use Tag Uniques - ESPless and want a more minimalist unique item marker. Skip if you're happy with the default (U) or want more comprehensive UI overhauls.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure Tag Uniques - ESPless is installed first, then drop this replacer in your mod manager and overwrite when prompted.
- If you're using a mod manager like Vortex, enable this mod after Tag Uniques to ensure the file replacement takes effect.
- Check in-game that the star appears on unique items—if not, reinstall Tag Uniques and then this mod.
