📋 About This Mod
Have YOU ever ordered an NCR Supply Drop, only to be met with a barely useable weapon and some ammo that doesn't even match? Because I have, and I thought to myself: "How would the NCR think this would be useful for a soldier in the field?"
So I took the NCR Supply Cache, removed the randomness, and added a static, and standardized, table in its place. Now, instead of a hodgepodge of random gunk, your Supply Cache will contain:
-
[]3 Stimpaks
[
]2 Caravan Lunches[]2 bottles of Purified Water
[]1 Weapon Repair Kit
[]1 Full-Condition Service Rifle
[]60 rounds of 5. 56mm Ammunition
- 1 random skill magazine (for entertainment purposes)
This ensures that you get a functional weapon, a way to keep that weapon functional, three magazines worth of ammunition, something to eat, something to drink, a quick health booster, and something to keep you entertained on those long field missions.
I believe this supply cache better represents what would realistically be sent out for someone requesting a field drop, while maintaining balance across the entire game, as while these will be less useful at higher levels, they do mean you won't be without emergency provisions.
Standardized NCR Supply Caches replaces the randomized, often useless loot tables of NCR supply caches in Fallout: New Vegas with a static, curated set of items. This ensures consistent, useful supplies every time, making it ideal for players who want reliable loot without relying on RNG. With 91 endorsements and 4,777 downloads, it's a niche but appreciated tweak for gameplay consistency.

For Fallout: New Vegas players who hate opening a cache to find nothing but tin cans and pre-war money. If you want reliable, useful loot from NCR caches without relying on luck, this mod is for you. Skip it if you enjoy the thrill of randomized loot or if you use other mods that overhaul cache contents.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since this mod changes loot tables, install it after any other mods that affect NCR supply caches to ensure it takes priority.
- If you're using a mod manager like Vortex or Mod Organizer 2, just drop the file in and let the manager handle load order.
- Make a save before installing so you can revert if you don't like the new loot.
