Description
With NVR's exterior shadows enabled, the Penthouse/Cocktail Lounge areas in the Lucky 38 look atrocious. Light bleeds through almost every ceiling and wall. This is not at all the fault of NVR, the meshes Obsidian used to construct the space were just not made with shadow rendering in mind and are invisible from the outside.
This mod fixes that by giving the relevant meshes opaque exteriors so that sunlight does not go through them. Works best with screenspace shadows enabled.
Now also fixes NVR effects not being visible through the windows, by using vertex alpha rather than alpha blending for window transparency.
If NVR ever fixes alpha blending, or if you have issues with the windows in the main file, use the optional file to revert the windows back to alpha blending (vanilla behavior). Otherwise, don't use it.
If you don't use NVR, this mod will do nothing for you.
