📋 About This Mod

Description:

I think I saw someone request this on one of the Discord's I'm in, so I figured I would whip it up real quick. All destroyed terminals (including those from mods) have been exchanged with a lootable variant that contains a small pool of tech-related loot. Each terminal has a 66% to spawn any given item from the loot pool, and the loot chances are as follows: Scrap Electronics (28%), Scrap Metal (28%), Sensor Module (15%), Conductor (15%), Fission Battery (15%). Does everything in this loot pool make sense? I don't know. Don't like it? Change It. Everything is controlled by a single Leveled Item that you can tweak to your will in FNVEdit.

The container still uses the vanilla model path and therefore will be compatible with any model replacer.

The container features custom open/close sounds based on the vanilla terminal interaction sounds.

I only changed the hulks and not the intact but non interact-able ones because I didn't think that made sense

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

Swaps all destroyed terminals in Fallout 4 with lootable variants containing tech loot, using Base Object Swapper. A small but functional gameplay tweak for scavengers, with 79 endorsements and recent updates.

✨ Key Features

Replaces destroyed terminals with lootable versions
Adds a small pool of tech-related loot to terminals
Requires Base Object Swapper to function

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Turns useless destroyed terminals into a source of tech scrap and components
  • Lightweight and simple—just install and let Base Object Swapper do the work
  • Recently updated (March 2026), so it's likely compatible with current game patches

⚠️ Cons

  • Small mod with a niche appeal—only 79 endorsements, so it's not widely tested
  • Loot pool is small, so don't expect game-changing rewards
  • Requires Base Object Swapper, which is an extra dependency you'll need to track
🎯 Is This For You?
For Fallout 4 scavengers who hate seeing destroyed terminals that give nothing. If you're a loot hoarder or survival player, this adds a bit more to grab. Skip if you want bigger gameplay overhauls—this is a minor tweak.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Make sure you have Base Object Swapper installed and enabled before adding this mod, or the swaps won't happen.
  • Use a mod manager like Vortex to install—it'll handle load order automatically.
  • If you're on PC, you can check the mod's files in the Data folder to see exactly which terminals are affected.
