Description
This mod makes changes to the quest objectives text on your Pipboy. More details have been added and removed, destinations are now easier to find.
Inspired by EBQO - Even Better Quest Objectives for Skyrim.
If you play Fallout 4, I made a FO4 version for IQO - Improved Quest Objectives for FO4.
What does this mod do?
> Changes the quest text in the Pipboy so it is more detailed.
> Fixes wording errors
> Changes text that felt out of place.
> Removes some excessive use of words.
> Changes "OPTIONAL:", "", "Optional:", "Optional -" or similar to "(Optional)" for consistency.
> Removes some text that would spoil the quest (like investigation quests or "locate an item" quests) without increasing difficulty.
> Changes "Tell..." to "Inform...". For example, instead of saying "Tell Jack ...", it would be "Inform Jack ..." (some have been purposefully left as is).
> Changes "Talk to", "Speak with", or similar to "Speak to" (some have been purposefully left as is).
I went through most of the quests in GECK from both the main game and DLCs and changed the text to more detailed ones. I did not change some quests because they did not need it or it was a "finding" quest that was supposed to be riddling. Here are some example changes showing the before (red) and after (green):
Deliver drugs to xx > Deliver the drugs provided by yy to xx at the zz near aa.
Follow xx to the yy. > Follow xx to the yy and speak to him/her there.
Tell xx yy is interested in him. > Inform xx that yy is interested in being with him/her.
Talk to xx about what can be done to help yy. > Speak to xx at the zz about what can be done to help yy.
