Higher Female Protagonist Voice
Several flavors of higher-pitched replacements for the vanilla female voice.
Let me state this upfront: I have no personal objections to the female voice used in Fallout 3 / Fallout New Vegas. I think it's fine. The plot of Fallout 3 called for someone who sounds 19, and she does. Bethesda did not, to our great mercy, require someone in their mid-40s who smokes.
That said, since I went through the considerable pains of tinkering with various voices in Fallout 4, I felt my own playthrough would be incomplete if I didn't do the same for at least some of the voices in Fallout New Vegas. And, yes, I'll be using one of these protagonist voices myself. The protagonist may not have much to say, but you still definitely hear more of her than anyone else in the game.
Here's what's available:
Type A1 - 3% higher Type A2 - 6% higher Type A3 - 9% higher Type A4 - 12. 2% higher Type A5 - 15. 6% higher
Each step up is a trifle higher, and that effect comes packaged with a noticeable decrease in apparent age. Type A5 sounds closer to a young teenager.
