HD Spacecraft and Aircraft Textures

FEATURES

Enhanced HD appearances for various aircraft and spacecraft like vertibirds, planes, jets, rocket ships, and alien spaceships (TTW). Flight-related parts and objects seen inside military facilities or aircraft hangars include prop planes, rocket statues, vertibird parts, vertibird interiors (switchboards, control panels, gauges, meters, buttons), vertibird debris, launchpad ladders, and rocket launchpads in addition to crashed UFOs. The Virgo II lunar lander has improved textures (TTW). All parts of the B29 have improved textures. Lily's vertibird blade weapon has received texture improvements. All textures feature machine learning upscaling and compression artifact editing. All textures are heavily inspired by vanilla (default) textures so other HD object retextures and LOD retextures should blend right in. Lily's vertibird blade is not a playable weapon.

INSTALLATION

Choose only one version (or your preferred combination) to install. For manual installation, extract the file to your game’s data folder. For a mod manager installation, install the file with your preferred mod manager.

COMPATIBILITY

This mod will conflict with mods that make changes to the same textures. This mod does not make any changes to the meshes, only textures.

KNOWN ISSUES

Some may consider these textures to be excessively large in size and this is intentional because they have little to no compression where possible to avoid artifacts. Submitting a bug report or leaving a comment will help me fix things faster if the mod is not working as intended.

PLANNED FEATURES

Airport service carts, rocket toys, and REPCONN Headquarters planetarium rockets are being considered for high-quality upscales in a future update. I may have missed some DLC plane textures, these will be in the next update.
