A longstanding issue with a handful of hairstyles is that the transparency will be bugged when "transparency multisampling" is enabled. This mod fixes it by removing the "enable testing" flag from the affected hairstyles' alpha properties.
This fix is very basic. It won't fix other bugs hair has with transparency such as disappearing at certain angles when wearing transparent headgear (such as the Space Suit Helmet). However, it will allow you to have transparency multisampling enabled while also maintaining quality for other stuff, like grass, which would ordinarily have to be sacrificed to fix this bug normally.
Recommended to be used alongside Fallout Alpha Rendering Tweaks in order to fix other issues with transparency multisampling.
