Gun Oil from Animal Fat for Weapon Repair and Maintenance

  With Gun Oil from Animal Fat, you can now craft gun oil at any campfire, reloading bench, or workbench from animal fat that can be rendered from the meat of most wasteland wildlife. Bighorner, Brahmin, and Yao Guai meat will render two uses of fat. Coyote, dog, gecko, human, mole rat, and giant rat meat will only produce one use—yes, human flesh, so you can literally oil your guns with the blood of your enemies, if you wish. Once you have fat, you only need Abraxo Cleaner and a strong alcohol (vodka) to make it suitable for use on your weapon. You can also just eat the pure fat if you really want, but it'll make you pretty sick.

  Why Abraxo? I know that realistically it would probably be an abrasive cleaner, and therefore not optimal for tuning up a gun, but it seemed like a balanced component with a fair amount of rarity in-game (which is to say, not really rare at all, but rare enough that looking for ingredients is an intentional action instead of something automatic or braindead).

  Rendering fat requires a Survival Skill of 25, and mixing gun oil requires a Repair Skill of 30 25. Both Rendered Fat and Gun Oil re-use the model for Centaur Blood, recolored to look like tallow.

  Gun Oil works the same as a weapon repair kit, but is only half as effective. The advantages of gun oil, however, are that it requires less skill investment to manufacture and its ingredients can be less difficult to acquire. This makes weapon maintenance more accessible for more lay or Survival-based characters without much Repair investment, and even if a character is a dedicated master of Repair, it offers a more lightweight option so that you don't waste a whole repair kit on a
