Dust- Killable Ghosts

Were you disappointed when you learned that the Ghost People in Dust can only be killed if you have the right perk?  Now you can kill them as normal again by removing the limbs.  If you want more of a challenge, you can limit the ghosts' vulnerability to only removal of the head.

Description: This small mod restores the ability to kill Dead Money Ghost People by dismemberment in Dust Survival Simulator.  The script that controls this feature normally only runs when the Dead Money main quest line is active.  This mod removes that check, so that the ghost people's script will always run, allowing for them to be killed.  However, to fit with the atmosphere of Dust, the ghosts have been made slightly harder to kill than in vanilla. (The limbs are tougher) Also included is an alternate, harder version where only removal of the head will kill the ghosts.

Requirements:

Installation: Nexus Mod Manager (NMM)-

• []Select "Download with Manager" and NMM should open. []Go to the "Mods" tab if not there already, select 'Dust- Killable Ghosts' and press activate. []Go to the "Plugins" tab and make sure either 'Dust- Killable Ghosts.esp' OR 'Dust- Killable Ghosts- Alt.esp' is activated. []Start game and enjoy.

• []Launch FOMM and open the package manager. []Press "Add FOMod", browse to where you downloaded the mod and select 'Dust- Killable Ghosts.zip'. []Activate the newly added package and close the package manager. []Make sure either 'Dust- Killable Ghosts.esp' OR 'Dust- Killable Ghosts- Alt.esp' is activated. []Start game and enjoy.

• []Extract the contents of the ''Dust- Killable Ghosts.zip' to your New Vegas Data directory (usually C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\data\). []Active mod using New Vegas launcher, FOMM or you preferred method. []Start game and enjoy.
