2022 Update: Voice acting! A huge thanks to BixbeVoice for his vocal contribution to this project. This was a daunting venture, but once things got underway, it became quite fun to figure out how to make it all work. 1-Year Anniversary Message: And another big thanks thanks to everyone that has endorsed/downloaded my mod(s) and left some great comments. As of right now about 6,400 people have downloaded the radio, which is astounding to me. I was hoping for around 500 downloads over the course of a year, but 6,400?? Woah. I'm real pleased that this mod became such a big hit in a short amount of time. And of course, I couldn't have done it without Bixbe, who came through with a solid performance and helped make this project leagues better. I also couldn't have done it without the GECK Extender, so another big thank you is in order for RoyBatterian and anyone else who worked on it.

April 2024 Update: Major technical overhaul. For the main version, I rearranged the playlist structure (song/voice line repetition now rarely occurs), added a new script and set conditions for each audio entry (which helps the game keep track of what's been played), and made the louder/quieter songs less loud/quiet. Due to the way the playlists need to chain together, I couldn't just make it fully random (although I tried), but I think you guys will be real satisfied with the way it turned out.

As for the songs-only version, I added a separate new script so that it now cycles through every song without repeating. If you'd prefer to hold onto the 2. 0 version, then be sure to back up your current "Songs Only.esp" before downloading 3. 0. I'll leave up the old version in case you decide/need to revert back.

Howdy, partners. I made this station a couple years ago for a specific playthrough, and I figured that I should share it here with y'all. Cowboy Radio contains 40 songs in total, mainly featuring guys like Marty Robbins, The Shadows, and Chet Atkins. There's guitar twang, there's storytelling, there's plain ol' instrumentals. There's slow songs, fast songs, nail-biting songs, bluesy songs, classic songs. A little bit of everything for the wasteland outlaw.
