📋 About This Mod
Best and one of the most "unfriendly" weather mods, now a tiny bit friendlier to your modlist (And also with radiation in some of its weathers).
Nevada Skies by Yossarian and Anro24 has been my getwith climate mod ever since I discovered it. I tried lots of different weather mods, but I always come back to this one, because when it's good, it's Great.
Unfortunately, it's a rough diamond, comes with a couple of issues, and I have this personal edit of it I've been using for years, which deals with some of those.
FIrst of all, it is cleaned of everything in relation to interiors. No other interior overhauls implemented or anything, it's just doesn't touch them, period.
Second, Sierra Madre and the Divide are back to their vanilla climates. I just feel like there's no point in overfixing something that works by itself (And vanilla climates for those areas certainly just do). I did keep NS Nuked Weathers for Long 15, Dry Wells and Courier's Mile though, coz I felt they done did added something to those locations (Just remember that the way NS work it can force weathers you've Enabled no matter what is the default climate in the area except if it's vanilla, so probably turn off Western Skies when you visit those). But I will upload an optional version where those are reverted back to vanilla too, just in case.
Third, certain weathers are now giving out radiation. I've used roni's Radioactive Rain (DON'T use it if you use this) mod as the base for that, it works the same way here, yet now it's not the rain but other Nevada Skies weathers that looked rad that do that. Those weathers are:
Fire Storm
Solar Eruption
The End of Time
Toxic Storm
Toxic Overload
Fourth, just a couple of smaller fixes and cleanups here and there.
Advice: If you loading the (NS) mod for the first time, put Light Intensity to 0. 45 and Night Brightness to 0. 42 in MCM, first one turns back the lighting on objects like neon signs or street lights, second makes nights a tiny bit brighter. After this little tuning, I'm fine with the mod's darker nights by the way, it's natural, it's not always pitch black (Like in life, it can be brighter and darker nights), and also at the darkest, actually makes Night Vision useful.
Installation: Nevada Skies and all its requirements, ShowOff xNVSE, some taste in movies, then overwrite with this.
