# Bright Headlights - Restored

Restore the headlight range UNITE removed, then turn it up. Four brightness tiers.

## Description

This puts the range back and raises the output. Four tiers, each one double the last, so you pick how far you want to see.

## Main features

- Headlight reach restored to stock. No more light dying in front of the car.

- The 20 metre cutoff and the fade are both removed.

- Four brightness tiers, each double the last. Vanilla sits at 2000, the lowest tier at 48000.

- Beam starts closer to the car, so the road right ahead is lit too.

- UNITE's beam angles and white colour are kept untouched.

- Front headlights only. Tail lights and reverse lights are left alone.

- Independent of everything else. Any load order, any EasyCops tier.

## Requirements

- NFS Heat, PC

- Frosty Mod Manager 1. 0. 6. 3

- UNITE Heat 3. 5. The files are built from UNITE's own light sets, so this exists to fix them.

## Installation instructions

1. Import the `.fbmod` for the tier you want into Frosty Mod Manager.

2. Put it below UNITE Heat 3. 5 in the load order. Last loaded wins.

3. Launch through Frosty. To change tier, uncheck the current one and check another.

Start with med. Go up if the road still feels dark, down if oncoming light blows out.
