Youtube to CD or Radio Converter

Tired or just lazy to manually download, convert and keep track of your own music for the CDs or Radio.

I've made a bat program that is using yt-dlp to download, extract and convert with ffmpeg Youtube playlists to Ogg Vorbis (.ogg) formats.

Prerequires:

• []Download yt-dlp latest release

  []Install ffmpeg with WIN+R(Run), "Winget install ffmpeg" or from ffmpeg.org

  []Install Deno with Powershell "irm https://deno.land/install.ps1 | iex"

  Step 1: Move the .bat and yt-dlp.exe into the same folder, I reccommend C:\Users\NAME\Music\Playlists to keep track.

  Step 2: Open the .bat file and you will be prompted for an Youtube Playlist URL.

  Step 3: Move the music tracks from the playlist to ...\My Winter Car\CD1

  Step 4: Enjoy easy and fast mass music ingame.

  Note!

  • []If there's more than 15 songs in your playlist, another folder will be created to continue the list.

    []You can have unlimited CD's, but each CD can only hold up to 15 tracks.

    []The amount of CD's you can have is determined on your RAM.

    []This was a quick program that what written with the express purpose of mass converting songs.

  • A downloaded_archive.txt is generated to keep track of previuesly downloaded songs, in the event of crash or failed session. So you dont have to start over.

    .txt version, Just create a new text document and rename it to .bat
