De-Stress Music Mod

This mod reduces the player’s stress when the radio is playing.

How the Mod Works

When you turn on the in-game radio—regardless of the device used (boombox, car radio, home stereo, etc.)—the stress level will begin to decrease, as long as the radio is not muted or silent.

New Distance System

The mod now includes a distance-based system:

• []Moving away from the radio will only reduce its effectiveness once the sound becomes faint.[/]

  []Stress reduction scales with your multiplier — for example, if it is set to 0. 6, moving far enough away that the sound becomes faint may reduce it to around 0. 2 (this depends on the radio volume and how loud the track is)

  []If you are too far away and can barely hear the sound, stress reduction will be minimal or not occur at all — you need to either move closer or increase the volume of the audio source[/]

  []This system can be disabled in mod settings (restores old behavior)[/]

    []Select which players are affected by stress reduction (all enabled by default)[/]

      WARNING

      If your stress does not decrease even though the radio is turned on and playing, open the mod settings and press the "RESCAN SPEAKERS" button.

      This should fix the issue.

      Make sure the radio is playing when pressing this button.
