Another bedtime story for those who like my "Chillax1000mg annoying tales from the memory-lane™" !!!

As a good, red-blooded gearhead, my cars ALWAYS had to be spotless inside, while my living space usually looked like an episode of "Hoarders".

Meanwhile, my fellow female co-worker's cars and homes were usually the opposite: it was fun riding in their perfumed-laced, cluttered pink-mobiles, filled with lipsticks, purses, high-heel shoes and the general girlish detritus strewn everywhere inside their car's cabins.

My years of custom gearwrenching usually involved manically undoing the usual pony-killer suspects under the hood that sapped performance (Thanks EPA and the big automakers for their "brilliant" engineering and cost-cutting ideas) and installing the premium stuff, without overdoing it with giant turbos and cheap, teenagerish, chromey-chinesium stuff. Also i always tended towards the "sleeper" look: It was fun giving rich dimwits in their douchemobiles a run for their money in your old granddad's looking sedan heheh.

So, since i decided to ditch the Corris due to infuriating game mechanics, such as headgaskets and water-pumps that fail every 100kms, constant, annoying letters to re-inspect, and the FPS-killing, i decided to erase it and go with the Sorbet STD as my "fun" ride.

It grew on me: old-beater looks, understated performance with little to no external flair other than a few hints, starts, every, single, time, you turn the keys (except that time time of the month when the chewed up wiring to the fuel sender needs a lil' jigglin' but you got it figured everytime it decides to act up), can put a good show on the highway if pushed hard enough, and without worrying if the engine will explode, because the last person under the hood (usually the idiot behind the wheel or, when above your weekend DIY greasemonkey paygrade, your own professional mechanical pope, who you spent more time talking cars with than actually doing any wrenching) has actually crossed every T and dotted every I, without overboosting it to hell, cheaped out on parts, took the headers to be surfaced by a guy with a white beard in the back of his own garage, who's been doing this for 40 years because he loves it, meanwhile without trying to make the externals to look like a clown car fast.

Therefore, it was a matter of principle: i was not fond of choosing the Rally steering wheel: since the STD has the option for the original steering, it did fit my bill perfectly, but it looked kinda light greyish constrasting with the darker das
