Corris Rivett 4-Speed Automatic Transmission

This mod upgrades the original Corris automatic transmission from three forward gears to four and also improves its upshift, downshift and kickdown behavior.

I may be one of the few people who genuinely prefers the automatic Corris over the manual versions. I have always liked the relaxed character of the original torque-converter automatic, especially in a well-equipped SLX, but the three forward gears make the engine run at fairly high RPM once the road opens up.

I did not want to replace it with a manual transmission or completely change the character of the car. I simply wanted the original automatic to have one more proper gear.

Main features:

• []Upgrades the original automatic from 1-2-3 to 1-2-3-4[/]

  []Keeps Park, Reverse, Neutral and Drive working normally[/]

  []Keeps selector positions 2 and 1 working as before[/]

  []Automatically downshifts from fourth to third when more power is required[/]

  []Reduces cruising RPM at higher speeds[/]

  []Supports the original rear-axle ratio options[/]

  Fourth-gear ratio:

  The default fourth gear is calculated from the installed third-gear ratio:

  Fourth gear = Third gear × 0. 73

  At the same road speed, this reduces engine RPM by approximately 27%.

    The original Corris 3-speed automatic transmission must be installed in the vehicle.

    In game configuration:

    Planned in the future + (adding 5th gear etc.).

    Compatibility:

    The mod does not replace or modify the rear-axle ratio. All original final-drive options remain functional and will naturally affect engine RPM, acceleration and shift behavior.

    Mods that directly modify the Corris automatic transmission, drivetrain physics or shifting logic may conflict with this mod.

    The mod does not affect the manual transmission or other vehicles.
