ColdStartFix

Fixes the frustrating cold start issue where your car won't start even with a properly tuned engine.

Why this mod exists

The game's AFR (air-fuel ratio) system works backwards from real life. To start your engine reliably, you need an AFR around 18 - which is extremely lean. The problem? Running that lean destroys your engine's performance.

For example, with an AFR of 18 my engine makes just 44hp on the dyno. Tune it properly to 13. 5 and it makes 75hp. That's a massive difference just to get the car started.

This also breaks how the choke works, since the choke is supposed to richen the mixture for cold starts - exactly the opposite of what the game wants.

With this mod installed, you can tune your engine properly and still start reliably in cold weather.

    Notes: This version is a quick and dirty fix for this problem. If Toplessgun doesn't provide a vanilla / basegame fix in the near future I might think about adding in some configurable options with more in depth logic to make it closer to the vanilla experience but not silly how it is now.

    That being said, this essentially removes engine temperature as a variable for starting the engine.

    It does NOT affect or change the battery. If your battery is frozen or dead etc you are still going to have problems starting the car. It's a not an "engine repair" mod or anything of that nature.
