Known Clutch Cover Removal Quirk
After removing the gearbox, the clutch cover bolts may occasionally not be immediately available to loosen.
Workaround: exit tool mode, click/interact with the clutch cover plate a few times, then return to tool mode. The bolts should then become available normally.
No save/reload should be necessary.
