Automatic Save Backup and Restore System

BackupSave adds an automatic save backup system for My Winter Car.

It creates backups when the game is loaded, allows manual restoration, supports permanent restore points, and can automatically restore your latest backup after death in Permadeath Mode.

This version can also import your My Summer Car save into My Winter Car, creating a backup of the current MWC save first when possible.

  Automatic Restore Modes

  • []Disabled - the mod creates backups, but does not restore automatically.[/]

    []Restore Everything - restores all save files from the latest backup.[/]

    []Restore Keeping Graves - restores the backup while preserving graveyard.txt.[/]

    Note: automatic restore needs at least one valid backup before death.

    Restore Points

    Restore points are permanent backups created manually by the player.

    They are not removed by the automatic backup limit. Use them before testing mods, changing important save files, making major progress, or modifying the car.

    Import My Summer Car Save

    In the My Winter Car version, BackupSave can import your My Summer Car save into the MWC save folder.

    The option appears automatically when a valid MSC save is found.
