📋 About This Mod

Replaces most textures for Vivec and Velothi architecture. Version 3. 2 Fixes: Removed erroneous alpha channel from some of the textures. If you could see little white specks (holes) in parts of the buildings this update will fix the problem. Set file path so that those who use BAIN can install or remove more easily. Added building textures that were not changed from V2 but were not included in the V3 pack. Note: Statues and UV fixes for the buildings from V2 are not included in this pack. I plan to remodel the statues from scratch at some point, and fix some other issues with the buildings before I make any update with those included.

✅ Pros

  • Community-approved with 1,176 endorsements—clearly a favorite for Morrowind texture fans.
  • Over 24,000 downloads means it's been tried and tested by a large player base.
  • Focuses on Vivec and Velothi architecture, giving those iconic structures a fresh look without overhauling the whole game.

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in 2010—might not be optimized for modern Morrowind mod setups or newer texture formats.
  • Only covers Vivec and Velothi architecture, so other areas remain untouched—you'll need other mods for a full overhaul.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Morrowind players who want to spruce up Vivec and the Velothi-style buildings without changing the game's overall aesthetic. If you're a purist who loves the original look but wants crisper textures, this is a solid pick. Skip if you're looking for a complete graphics overhaul—this only touches specific architecture.

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Since it's a texture replacer, just drop the files into your Morrowind Data Files folder—no mod manager needed.
  • Make sure to load this mod after any other texture mods that affect the same architecture to avoid conflicts.
  • If you're using Morrowind Code Patch or MGE XE, this mod should work fine, but test in Vivec to see if the textures appear correctly.
