Ultra Bloom

This shader for MGE is based on specialprocess.fx by Vtastek. Many settings have been added, sky glare and zoom have been removed. All known bloom shaders for MGE except specialprocess have very weak glow power. This is a unique case - this bloom is really powerful, but the side effect of this power is significant glare of the entire scene. Therefore, this bloom shader requires additional post-processing of the scene, which was done. It is suggested to use contrast, saturation, exposure settings, and also connect an additional LUT shader by XeroFoxx.

Installation

In the MGE settings add Ultra Bloom.fx and XERO-lut.fx to the list of active shaders.

XERO-lut.fx should be the last shader in the list. This shader is optional, it adds contrast, darkens dark objects and brightens light objects, while maintaining the saturation of the scene colors. The screenshots show the difference with / without this shader.

Mod settings

You can adjust bloom power and its radius.

The contrast setting will make some parts of the scene darker, but will retain clarity.

The saturation setting will increase the saturation of colors, ridding Morrowind of grayness.

The exposure settings affect the overall brightness of the scene.

You can increase the exposure at night and in interiors if they seem too dark to you.
