📋 About This Mod
Will update for Poison Song once I have a list of the new/renamed dungeon cells. If anyone has this list already or knows where to find it, please let me know!
The base esp, TR_DarkDungeons. ESP, sets dungeon cell ambient, sunlight, and fog to 0 0 0, just as in True Lights and Darkness (TLAD). That's it. This covers (most) ancestral tombs, ancient ruins, caves, Daedric shrines, Dwemer ruins, grottos, mines, and Velothi towers.
A few cells in these categories with friendlies are untouched, such as Bisandryon (occupied by members of Great House Indoril), friendly Velothi towers, and the Shipal-Shin clan caves.
TR_PlantLightRadiusIncrease.esp is in the zip file. Glowing plants added by Tamriel Rebuilt have a tiny radius that appears very dim in pitch-black interiors; this increases their light radius. Optional; take a look at the screenshots to see if it's worth it for you.
(s)Light Improvements (OpenMW) is worth checking out for increased handheld light radius. Some TR dungeons have little to no light sources, more often than in the base game, so this may be worth trying if handheld torches/lanterns seem too dim.
Tested on OpenMW and cleaned with tes3cmd, but as this is essentially a TR patch for TLAD, there should be no problem in base game Morrowind or MGE XE.
Requirements
TR_DarkDungeons. ESP and TR_PlantLightRadiusIncrease.esp require the latest version of Tamriel Rebuilt. Technically doesn't require TLAD or TLAD - Necro Edit, but it was designed to work with them.
In Beta simply because I used uesp.net to find the Tamriel Rebuilt dungeons and not sure if one or two are missing.
Please comment or message me to let me know of any changes you'd like to see or any cells that need adjustment!

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Tiny but dedicated following (17 endorsements) — niche mods like this are gems for the right players.
- 4,592 downloads show real demand for consistent lighting across Tamriel Rebuilt.
- Straightforward purpose: if you use TLAD, this is the missing piece for TR dungeons.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires both True Lights and Darkness and Tamriel Rebuilt, so it's not for everyone.
- Only affects dungeon interiors — surface areas and caves outside TR remain unchanged.
For Morrowind players who use True Lights and Darkness and want the same moody dungeon lighting in Tamriel Rebuilt. Skip if you don't use TLAD or don't play with Tamriel Rebuilt.
