Tougher and More Unique Vanilla Monsters

Tougher Vanilla Monsters (or TVM) is an overhaul of a handful of Morrowind's vanilla enemies to make encounters with them more dynamic and challenging. This is to try to help players who'd rather have their brains switched on in combats. This mod is not simply an HP and damage buff but a series of changes to existing foes in a way that fits the Vanilla game and lore. We all know the terrors of encountering a Greater Bonewalker on a low to mid-level character in a dark crypt, with this mod a handful of other enemies will present a level-relevant challenge to make the player think and dynamically adapt to the combat situation.

An overview of some of the changes are below:

Brutal Bonewalkers: Lesser and Normal Bonewalkers now temporarily drain strength and endurance on a more notable level while also hexing the character in several other ways.

Baneful Bonelords: The Bonelord's Spellkit has been almost entirely refitted, with them now casting spells that carry torpor, necrotic and chilling effects.

Dreadful Dreugh: Dreugh now will burden and occasionally electrocute their victims, bogging them down underwater to make escape more difficult.

Tormentful Twilights: Winged Twilights will now use hexing spells to slow their prey from afar before moving in for the kill with attacks thair leave their victims growing weaker as the fight goes on, and are now hardy equals to their Golden Saint peers.

Obstinate Ogrims: Ogrims and Ogrim Titans will fit their niche in the combat sandbox more efficiently, becoming remarkably more tanky and hardy, now requiring some dedicated focus to actually bring them down now.

Harmful Hungers: I always found Hungers to be underwhelming in the Vanilla game and were the original inspiration for this mod. Hungers will now focus on absorbing and stealing your life force and attributes making them fierce foes in drawn out battles and worthy summons to be at your side.

Beyond these changes, several of the 'Boss' enemies in the game have been enhanced to represent their powers. (Molag Grunda and Menta Na, namely.)
