📋 About This Mod

In the original game, Dremora and Dremora Lords can use Dreugh, Dwarwen, Ebony, or Daedric weapons, depending on the player's level. They start using Daedric weapons when the player reaches level 16. Two levels later, they use the best of them. However, the chance of getting a Daedric weapons at high levels is slightly less than 50%. It is worth noting that two-handed Dwarven weapons, which are available from level 1 and the best examples of Ebony, are superior in damage to many Daedric weapons. But a Dremora in a full set of Daedric armor with a Dreugh Staff or a Dwarwen Spear looks pretty ridiculous.

With this mod, Dremora will always use Daedric weapons, and their quality stil depends on the player's level. Although Dremora Lords use slightly higher quality weapons. In general, up to level 30, the strength of their weapons is quite comparable to the original game. After level 30, Dremora begin to use better weapons and shields to continue to be a threat. I also disabled the "Fire Storm" Spell for Dremora Lords after level 30 as it reduced their combat capabilities. Summoned Dremora have also been changed, however they don't get a small weapon boost at level 30.

Upon death, the weapon (as well as armor) is now also recalled to Oblivion, it cannot betaken away even if the MCP is not installed. OpenMW users should leave the option "Always allow stealing from knocked out actors" disabled in Game Mechanics section. It is disabled by default.

Dremora weapons:

01-20 lvl, all 20% chance (tanto, club, dagger, spear, staff).

20-30 lvl, all 10% chance (tanto, shortsword, club, dagger, mace, longsword, spear, staff, warhammer, claymore).

30-99 lvl, not summoned, all 20% chance (shortsword, mace, longsword, warhammer, claymore).

Dremora Lord weapons:

01-20 lvl, all 10% chance (tanto, shortsword, club, dagger, mace, longsword, spear, staff, warhammer, claymore).

20-30 lvl, all 10% chance (shortsword, wakizashi, mace, longsword, war axe, katana, warhammer, claymore, battle axe, dai-katana).

30-99 lvl, all 20% chance (wakizashi, war axe, katana, battle axe, dai-katana).

Since the wishes for the loot after the battle will be different among different players, I made three versions of the mod.

1) Loot is fully consistent with the original. You will receive leveled items from "random excellent melee weapon" and "random_daedra_heart" lists (PR_DremoraDaedricV.esp).

2) You will receive a random gem, which cultists often give as a gift to Dremora. As well as the Daedra's Hear
